  • Eligibility:  Sophomore standing or above at the time of application. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Previous college-level coursework and/or other significant preparation in economics, political economy or development Studies, as assessed by SIT. Completion of Spanish 202 or equivalent and the ability to follow coursework in Spanish, as assessed by SIT.

  • Subjects:  History and politics of Argentina and the southern cone, development, regionalization and local production strategies, social movements and social change, regional issues and concerns

  • Subjects:  Spanish language, honors courses in arts and sciences, business and engineering.

  • Instruction:  In Spanish. students attend special courses at the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) and regular university classes at the University of Buenos Aires.
  • Subjects:  Spanish language, international relations, economics, history, political science, education, communications, sociology
  • Housing:  Private homes, university accommodations
